In 1998, a group of New England-area Hyundai dealers launched a local initiative to raise funds to support pediatric cancer through the Jimmy Fund at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. What started as a small contribution in a local market has evolved into Hyundai Hope On Wheels, an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Hyundai Hope On Wheels is the united effort of Hyundai Motor America and its more than 800 dealers across the U.S. to raise awareness about childhood cancer and to celebrate the lives of the children battling the disease.

Hope On Wheels Scholars Tour
Since 1998, Hyundai Hope On Wheels have been committed to fighting childhood cancer, raising more than $87 million to finding a cure. In 2010, Hyundai began annually touring the country giving out over 50 $100,000 to scholars and researching fighting pediatric cancer.
Mothers Against Drunk Driving
Hyundai has partnered with Mothers Against Drunk Driving since 2005 when it sponsored a program that educated high school students on the dangers of drinking and driving. Hyundai has since expanded that partnership and is now the presenting partner for "Walk Like MADD," one of MADD's largest 5K walks.
Hyundai Cancer Institute
On May 10, 2011 Hyundai Motor America and its nonprofit organization, Hyundai Hope On Wheels, announced a $10 million gift to CHOC Children's Hospital in Orange County, California. The gift was the largest corporate gift in the hospital's history, and has been used to fund groundbreaking pediatric cancer research at the Hyundai Cancer Institute

Elwyn Vehicle Donation
In 2012, Hyundai awarded Elwyn California a 2013 Santa Fe Sport. Ewlyn is a Fountain Valley, CA based non-profit Community Rehabilitation Program providing vocational rehabilitation, employment services, and employment support services to people with disabilities.
