2019 marked another successful year for The Coats for Kids Initiative as we expanded to the Greater Detroit area of Southfield, Michigan. Through the Coats for Kids Initiative, Hyundai aims to provide children and their families with the practical necessity of a warm coat to help increase school attendance during cold winter days.

This year, we partnered with Orchards Children’s Services – an organization that has been around for more than fifty years providing adoption and fostering services for children and teens in Detroit area.

On January 16, 2019, a donation ceremony was held at the Orchards Children’s Services’ gymnasium where Hyundai donated 1,000 winter coats.
