Sound the Alarm Event
May 12 @ 8:00 am - 2:00 pm
Presented by the American Red Cross and the #BecauseAsian Employee Resource Group (ERG
Have you been a victim of a house fire? Or know someone who has? In the past year, California has witnessed home fires that have devastated many families and their loved ones. Did you know? Every day, seven people die in a home fire due to a lack of a working smoke alarm. As a small step to Save a Life, the Hyundai #BecauseAsian ERG is partnering with the American Red Cross to bring awareness to our local communities with the Sound the Alarm volunteer initiative.
This May, Hyundai wants to help Sound the Alarm to help prevent these tragedies in Orange County. Together, with the Fire Department, we will be installing free smoke alarms in homes that are at-risk and we will be educating residents on disaster safety. We can help save lives and homes!
